Creating Harmony

'Creating Harmony' brings us into the intimate rehearsal process of the Lafayette String Quartet - the only all female ensemble with this longevity comprised of its original founding members. How does the collective manage itself without a chosen leader while creating musical greatness with, and for, others? As with any collaboration, there are times of internal conflict and drama, and the Lafayette String Quartet is no different. Somehow, this combination of talent has not only survived but has indeed thrived for over three decades.
