Chasing Green and Gold is the story of Lawenda, a young African woman seeking asylum who dreams of a beautiful life in Australia. She is a bright young lady who, with no history of training in athletics, dreams to someday represent Australia in the 100m. After fleeing a life of war, Lawenda fights with all her might to start a new life in Australia. She finds herself in a series of mishaps as she tries to navigate through the challenges that lay before her. With her eyes set on the prize, Lawenda does all it takes to prove her self worth.
