Murder on the Road to Kathmandu (2018)

The film's first scene shows a group of village women carrying clay water pots towards a man lying on a deserted spot writhing in pain . They take out kerosene bottles from their pots and start pouring it on the man! The man as we later find out was a prominent politician and belongs to the local royal family. Investigator Sridhar is sent from Delhi to investigate this murder. As he begins unravelling the mystery , Sridhar begins to realise how this was not a case of 'murder' but of 'Public execution'!
