Vålerenga is the district that is, and has far more than football. It has retained much of its distinctive environment with its many wooden houses built in the 1800s. The bad news is, it is at the risk of being destroyed by traffic problems and slams. Among the contributors are people with personalities like Kyter'n (Shooter), Tippen Johansen and Tuben (The Tube).
