Virtual Opportunity (2017)

Vincent is a recent crippled man after he lost the use of his legs, and he desperately wants to run again like before. Then, one day he receives a birthday present from his best friend, Serge, a VR headset which allows him to enter a new reality where he is able to walk again. Feeling happy and joyful, Vincent is now able to do the things he loves like running, jumping, dancing around public places and feel happy, and mostly when he meets the girl of his dreams. But he is not aware that this new reality is fake and it's all in his imagination. Soon he's awakened by Serge who finds him wearing the VR headset for a whole day, and Vincent gets depressed when he realizes that nothing is going to brings his legs back. He then decides to go into surgery, as his parents and physicians wanted. A few weeks after the surgery, Vincent feels more comfortable since he has progressively got adapted to his stilts and is now able to walk and run, and later he meets the girl he met in the VR. Vincent recovers from his depression and his self-esteem improves. Having trust in himself, puts him in the situation that allows him meet the girl he had known in his virtual world.
