Facing the Black (2018)

Despite receiving the award of excellence in the police academy, Dierdre Sanders becomes severely depressed after she accidentally kills a young girl running emergency to a robbery. Dierdre tries to live her everyday life but finds herself staring at a wall, hours on end finding it pointless to speak. Her girlfriend, Ashley supports her in her struggle with depression and tries everything to help her despite Dierdre's reluctance. After many antidepressants and therapy, Dierdre starts to give up on life finding it pointless to continue to live.
