In the late 90's, led by Laird Hamilton and the strapped crew, tow-in surfing conquered Jaws, the heaviest wave in the world, leading to a series of controversies. A few years later, three Brazilian surfers, away from the media hype, decided to challenge the giant waves of Jaws with their bare hands, something unthinkable at the time. After almost killing themselves several times, breaking records after records, they changed the history of big wave surfing and became know as the Mad Dogs.
