Aliyah (2018)

Aliyah is a poor Manipuri muslim girl. She lives with her widowed mother, who used to sell vegetables at market, and her younger sister. When her mother met a road accident, she was hospitalised for months. Aliyah has to bear all the medical expenses of her mother's treatment. Leishabi is a Manipuri meetei boy who lives with his widowed mother. Her mother is a Hawaijar (Akhuni or axone) seller. He is well educated but un-employed. One day his mother met a road accident. She was in the same vehicle where Aliyah's mother was. Both the mothers were hospitalised in the same hospital. Leishabi and Aliyah fell in love. Leishabi has to start working and decided to do what his mother did and he got famous of his uniqueness in this profession. Leishabi and Aliyah's affair go well until Aliya's uncle knows about it. But the differences in culture and religion could not destroy the loves that was etched in their hearts forever.
