A Great Display of Patience (2018)

A studious high school girl suffers from misophonia, a selective sound syndrome causing an unreasonable build-up of panic, anger and rage as a result of exposure to specific sounds. Layla is usually able to keep her auditory condition in check and just wants to do well in school, not revealing the inner turmoil she suffers. However, a trouble-making boy in her class notices her condition and sits behind her with the intention to push her to breaking point.
