Within

Kanoa is an inquisitive 17-year old who's unaware that the world she lives in is actually a virtual construct of ancient Hawaii contained within a future A.I. matrix. After committing the taboo of writing down the creation chant, she runs away from the high priest and all those who want to sacrifice her to appease the gods. Seeking 'the place of refuge', she ends up discovering a mysterious cave, a portal that transports her into other time dimensions. The gods are real, but they're from the future and the choices they force Kanoa to make will determine the future destiny of humanity.
