Poor Innocence

Charlotte Grey comes from a poverty-stricken, dysfunctional family in a small town of Michigan. She battles mental illness while enduring years of abuse and neglect from the ones that should protect her. She takes the punches to protect her autistic brother from their narcissistic mother and wonders if she will ever be good enough? Charlotte and her brother secretly plan a way to leave their abusive mother to go be with their father, who has an aggressive eye disease.
