Broken Strings (2017)

Eli has hit rock bottom, his life has become routine get up, go to work, get bullied, fail to speak to the girl, go home and go to bed. It's banal and soul-crushing. Eli wants to stand up to his boss, he wants to speak to the girl, he wants to play guitar again. However, his depression and drone-like state don't exactly breed willpower and confidence, but with the help of Tod the janitor and his mysterious red pills Eli finds a ray of sunshine and all of his wants come hurtling towards him faster than he can process them. When runs out though, after over taking them like skittles, his life takes a drastic spiral and so he attempts to get more pills when he does it comes as no surprise that the pills were fakes and it was actually him along.
