The Field (2019)

The Field is a sci-fi romantic thriller that takes place in the near future. It is a time where virtual reality is so well developed that deeply affects people's perception and consciousness, and blurs the line between the digital world and reality. PO-CHEN, a former VR drug addict who carries the guilt of past memories, encounters a ghost-like image of his dead wife on his routine VR run. The incident makes him believe his wife is still alive in the VR world. PO-CHEN acquires the strongest VR drug available. In hopes that the ultimate connection with the VR world will redeem him, as well as reunite him with his lost love. Even if doing so kills him.
