On Dangerous Ground

Louisiana. Spring. 1943. America is in the grip of war. A young black woman, Vivian Baptiste, searches for her father who has vanished from Angola Penitentiary just days before his scheduled release; the trail takes her deep into the bayous where she gets caught up in a deadly conspiracy to change the outcome of the war, involving powerful white supremacists, the German high command, and America's golden boy, Charles Lindbergh.
