Asperger's syndrome is a developmental disorder that gives people extensive problems to understand the environment. In this film, we meet two young people who have the disorder: Nikolai (14) from Vardø who is all-interested in dogs, and Andreas Martin (10) from Sortland who is interested in data. Both of them have other special interests that they will go into, but having Asperger's syndrome has caused difficulties for them to get into social relationships and contact with others, and has given them limited ability to experience, to understand mimics, body language, irony or metaphors. Parents, professionals and teachers are interviewed about the subject.
