Pearl (2019)

In a desolate Chinese fishing village, a six-year old girl lives with her younger brother and their single mother, struggling to survive at the brink of poverty. Unbeknownst to the young girl, her mother, an oyster harvester, is given the opportunity to leave her home town and improve her living situation under one condition: to leave one child behind.
