Pale Folks (2018)

With the help of a scrap metal collector, a young man steals a bronze monument in the shape of a lotus. He is an aspiring rapper who doesn't let his bleak surroundings kill his passion for making music. After committing the crime, he goes on a runaway spree through the freezing lowlands of Serbia together with his teenage girlfriend. This journey becomes a stage for their personal transformation. Harsh weather, economic and social devastation, musings about the future, and new discoveries about their relationship, all interfere with their dreams and expectations. While the detectives are tracing their steps, a young couple continues their escape into the unknown.
