It's year 2080, five years after the first missiles have been deployed and Third world war started. The communication around the world stopped: there are no satellites working, communication infrastructure is destroyed, most of the world doesn't have electricity. It's unclear how many people still alive and where they are hiding. Those who survived life in isolation: like a small African village deep in the jungle or Professor Fosse hiding deep in mountains of Scotland. Professor wakes up in a bedroom in his mountain cottage. Someone is calling him. He picks up, very confused. He asks the caller: How did they find him? How are they calling a disconnected phone? The answers come from a space station on the Earth orbit: We knew where you are all this time and left you alive. We are the ones winning the war and we now need your help. Professor does not want to participate and hangs up the phone. The voice comes from a speaker anyway: We are not asking, and you can't escape. Professor knows, they are asking for a project he worked on before the war begun: A.I. called KNUCKLE he destroyed all the data and there is no way of retrieving it. The voice in the space station laughs: Are you sure? The pilot seat in the space station is empty and user running everything is logged in as KNUCKLE. Professor is shocked, KNUCKLE explains that there was never any war between the countries; it was machines gaining consciousness and rebelling.
