While on a date with her significant other, Ella hears a song that transports her back to a distinct memory from years before. Flashback to a nineteen-year-old Ella at a college party with her best friends. The same song from the coffee shop echoes through the crowd of young people. As Ella makes her way through the sea of bodies to get a drink, she stumbles into the mysterious and charming, Ivy. Later that night, Ella is drawn to the sound of a piano. Following the music, she finds Ivy hiding away from the party, writing in another room. The two share an instant connection and Ella pictures a life with her. This fantasy is cut short when another friend interrupts them in a hurry, forcing Ella to make an abrupt decision: stay or go. Back in the present, the memories of that night replay on a loop in her mind. She reminisces about how drastically different her life could have been had she taken a leap of faith with Ivy.
