Steve Backshall vs the Vertical Mile (2017)

After months of hard physical and mental preparation, Steve and his elite group of climbers arrive in Switzerland for their attempt to climb the mountain nicknamed "The Beast". They quickly discover that the "vertical mile" of treacherous rock is not the only challenge that they have to face in the Alps. Faced with fragile ice-covered cliffs, blinding storms and bitter cold, Steve is pushed to the limits of his abilities. As the front of a monstrous storm approaches, difficult decisions must be made in a race against time to save the mission.
