The director joins the theater company Colectivo Cien Años de Soledad on a road trip across La Guajira, Colombia, discovering the magic of this special land that inspired García Marquéz. Viaje al Corazón de Macondo follows the group's day-to-day experience and interaction with the inhabitants during the presentation of the play, "Memoria y Olvido de Ursula Iguarán."
