Old Fashioned Leafless (2012)

Jorge Bacelar brings us today a documentary dedicated to the old fashioned defoliated in the village of Bunheiro, a tradition with history in the region of Estarreja and Murtosa. A moment where the people of the village, and even of other regions nearby, would gather every night through different houses to make the defoliated of the ears of corn in due time. An arduous work, transformed into a moment of conviviality, leisure and mutual aid with the inhabitants of these villages.
