Plants (2019)

While Amy is smoking with two of her usual clients, she gets a text from a friend asking if she can sell to a friend. Amy heads over to this new client's house, assuming it will be a quick pit stop on her way home. Mark lets her into his home and Amy is immediately suspicious, but proceeds with the sale. Amy takes in her surroundings when Mark goes to grab a missing $5 bill. Just as he is about to hand her the bill, his mother walks in. Not knowing what to say, he blurts out that Amy is his girlfriend. His mother is elated and insists Amy stays for dinner. Amy begins to head for the door when Mark's mother leaves, but Mark threatens to expose her if she does not stay. The dinner with Mark's parents is awkward, but Amy makes the most of it. As she leaves, with leftover lasagna in hand, Amy tells Mark never to reach out to her to buy weed again. She makes it home to her loving partner, June, and the two smoke weed and enjoy their night after a long day.
