Wunderschein (2019)

'Wunderschein' documents the production of Euro banknotes to reflect on the creation of value through money. Step by step, paper, inks and other materials undergo a mechanical process both simple and wonderful. The film's images and sounds play with pleasure and frustration, materiality and abstraction. Fetish? Science Fiction? What 'is' money, really, asks 'Wunderschein'.
