Virtues of Knature (1987)

An old soothsayer's prophecy, casts the fate of the Princess with red hair, and heir to the throne. Following the murder of her father, his cunning brother arranges for her to be abandoned in the forest. But, this forest of soft, pink fur grass, and bubble bath streams is no threat to the princess. The enchanted forest is inhabited by youthful spirits of knature (air, earth, fire, and water), who befriend her. The princess recovers her strength, and is shown a new way of life, so much more enjoyable than the austere existence she endured in the kastle. The princess indulges in all the pleasures of knature, until it is time for her to go. For the verse of the prophecy to be complete, the princess must return to the kastle to "do as she would, and not as she should", and confront her uncle.
