The Dying Breed (2019)

An aging retired folk singer losing his hearing, Franklin R. Jacoby, decides a fifteen year hiatus is long enough and tries to make a comeback album and create a career resurgence, but is rejected by his old friend at the record label. After being rejected by his record label, Franklin meets Mathias Sanford, a rising star in the indie folk scene. Reminded of himself, Franklin begrudgingly forms a friendship with Mathias and together the two musicians find their voice.
