Hopeless (2015)

'Hopeless' follows a group of youths, led by troubled Darren (Sean McCarthy) as they set out to become online celebrities by recording and uploading their assault of an innocent homeless man (Renaud Jadin) and the repercussions that occur after the video goes viral. Young Matthew (Jayden Caulfield), also a victim of the gang, gets unwittingly involved in the assault. The fate of the homeless man will depend on whether Matthew stands up for another human being or succumbs to terror and intimidation. It's a raw, intense drama that turns the spotlight on a generation where everything is digitally captured and uploaded for the world to see and explores both the victims and culprits' viewpoints.
