Åsa Nelvin (1951-1981) was a Swedish writer who was able to verbalize her pain of alienation and her desire in rage and poetry. Her novels are sarcastic and spiteful, almost obscure in their portrayals of the traditional role of women. She was only 15 years old when she was accepted to the Gothenburg Academy of Drama and became the school's youngest student ever.
