Ahead of her planned wedding celebration, Samira the Arab would-be bride, becomes disillusioned with the groom and runs out into an open field to escape. Amir, the Iranian groom, follows suit to console her. He is worried deeply, for her, and perhaps even more so for his own family reputation. When the couple's concerned families catch up with them, the personal confrontation between the would-be weds unravels into a blame-game between two sides. Unfolding in an open field, accusations and revelations reveal secrets, prejudices, contested family values, and age-old rifts between Arabs and Iranians.
