Steve Cooperman has been a part-time planetarium lecturer / narrator at Griffith Observatory since 1976. He was a Guide there before that -- vacation employment while he was a Physics major at Yale University. After graduating in 1975 and becoming a lecturer, he also attended UCLA's Earth and Space Sciences Department as a graduate student. He began full-time teaching high school Physics, Physical Science, Chemistry, and occasionally Astronomy and Earth Sciences at Los Angeles area private schools from 1984 until 2020.
