Born and raised in Norway, Andreas became interested in medicine at the age of seven whilst enrolled at the Kambo Children's School, which among different experimental programs, had organized a Hands-On fish dissection session with staple Norwegian fish such as the cod being opened up for these young children to stimulate an interest in science and biology. This was also the time that set in motion a lifelong attraction to, and naturality behind, microphones and video cameras, having been chosen by one of the school teachers to take part in a radio show on the merit "Andreas, you have a nice voice", due to speak about the school's program of co-tutoring school children years 1-3, and years 4-6, with natural challenges, advantages and disadvantages due to the age gaps. His undergraduate schooling included study in Sweden, Denmark and UK, setting him up for a Biomedical Engineering degree awarded by DTU in 2006. After receiving a master's degree in Bioengineering from Denmark in 2008, with most of the coursework and project work conducted in Brazil, he spent some years in the UK, working in Academia and Industry. In 2013, he returned to Brazil, his newfound second "home country". The first year in Brazil was for acclimatization, securing visas, work permits and the start of the entrepreneurial spirit and "drive" with several language school initiatives. Andreas speaks seven languages and has two others as "hobbies". From the second year, he was back in action with science and research activities, working for the National Institute of Biofabrication, which can be regarded as an area of Tissue Engineering, the area in which he had specialized since the formative years. The Institute had a track record of projects with a view of Entrepreneurship, and Andreas received formal support to pursue grant opportunities that would specifically leverage good ideas to turn into fruitful projects. A project was awarded for what eventually led to the formation of the Biotech company "Eva Scientific" in 2015. In 2016, embarked on a promising trajectory with his academic and entrepreneurial activities, different media outlets started approaching to receive interviews and special reports, including Globo, Mercado Futuro and Domingo Espectacular. As a science communicator, Andreas regularly appears on television, radio, and various other media outlets.
