Multiple award-winning comedy writer, stand-up comic, and podcast host - Chris Moore likes to keep busy. Born in Ellicott City, Maryland and raised in Baltimore, Chris was heavily involved in Theatre and Speech & Debate, winning numerous state-wide awards for Classical Performance and Dramatic Interpretation. While earning his Bachelors in Acting from Towson University, Chris assistant taught Honors Acting 1 and Techniques of Comedy. Upon graduating, he modeled regularly, specifically in runway, to save money to pursue comedy in Chicago. He then spent the next decade in Chicago, where he studied and performed long-form improvisation at the iO Theatre and co-founded Lights Out Theatre Company. When he wasn't producing or acting, he was performing stand-up comedy and hosting events at venues such as Chicago's House of Blues. He studied pilot writing under the late Michael McCarthy, and after writing/performing his one-man show "Hunger Pains" at The Greenhouse Theatre, Chris moved back to the East Coast and settled in NYC. Chris Moore has been performing stand up regularly at Broadway Comedy Club since 2016, and has produced various evenings of stand-up throughout Brooklyn and Queens. Chris and fellow comedian, Carlos Garcia created FratChat Podcast in 2019, which is now part of the Bleav Network. Chris also studied comedy writing with Emmy Award-winning comedy writer Jerry Perzigian at Jacob Krueger Studio. Chris then partnered with Carlos to write a sitcom called "Roomies," which was edited by Jerry, and has won over 40 accolades from both American and international festivals.
