Akina Wylie

Akina Wylie born in Texas on May 7, 2008 is 25% Japanese and 75% European. Akina fell in love with the idea of being a child actor after watching the Harry Potter series and Stranger Things. The idea of being a kid in a different reality or decade, especially the 80s or 90s, sounded like a dream job. Akina has trained at Dallas Young Actors Studio since 2021 with the goal to be in a movie as a child actress. Her first audition for a feature film was to play the younger version of one of the main characters in the 90s. When she landed the role in the movie, Matter of Time, she achieved her dream. To make the whole experience even more exciting, she learned she would be playing the younger version of Ali Astin. She couldn't believe it when she also found out that Sean Astin was also in the movie whom she loved watching as Bob in Stranger Things and in 50 First Dates. Akina is excited to continue her training and to hopefully get to act in TV shows and more movies in the future.
