Michela Carriere

A Cree Metis woman, Michela was raised at Big Eddy Lodge, 60km northwest of the nearest town, Cumberland House, SK. Her family lives off-grid, in the wilderness of the Saskatchewan River Delta. Michela was home schooled as a child and later studied Horticulture at Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo, BC. She is a Cree herbalist, hunter, survivalist, and adventurer. She has appeared in the reality TV series Merchants of the Wild on APTN to showcase these skills. She also has two businesses, adventure guiding with Aski Holistic Adventures and bead work with Aski Beadworks.
