Chris R. Vaccaro is a media executive, professor, and author from Long Island. He has directed and produced several documentaries. His research and storytelling have largely focused on major Long Island news moments and internationally on the growth of baseball in Italy. Vaccaro, a journalism professor at Hofstra University, his alma mater, is a two-time Emmy Award winner and nine-time Edward R. Murrow Award winner.
