Catherine Andy

Catherine was born in Dominican Republic and spent her early childhood between her hometown in Santo Domingo, and San Francisco, California. She began performing in early childhood through school productions and The Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts. Moving to The Bronx, New York, at the age of 12, she continued performing as a youth, majoring in theater and modern dance in high school, and independently throughout college while studying psychology, later becoming a licensed clinical social worker. In 2023, she returned to performing in New York theater productions and on camera. Catherine is fluent in Spanish, practices salsa and other Afro-Latin dance styles, and fine arts. Catherine has several upcoming projects, including a return to LATEA Theater in Stacey Bernadette Goes Dating, as Dr. Kate Goodfellow, directed by Terry Foster, and will reprise her role in Earth to Venus, directed again by Jasmine K Bernard, for a new run at Theaterlab NYC.
