Ever since a child, Sean Binek has taken initiative to fully engross himself in a variety of fields. To begin his acting career, he worked on student films with SCAD students such as "A Tragic Night" and "Apple Branded Film" casted as lead roles. Since then, Binek has been improving his craft by taking classes with NYU alumni Julissa Sabino Hobbs and being casted in upcoming student/ feature films. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Sean Binek is one of three children. Growing up in a small town played to his advantage, as Binek would often find himself keeping busy by playing sports, writing, or watching films. As a young child, Binek led his elementary school baseball team in batting average, hits, RBIs, and fielding percentage. Later on in his childhood, Sean Binek turned to competitively playing his favorite video game, Pokemon. Within one year, Binek made the top cut at the Athens regional tournament and qualified for the national tournament. As he grew, he found a love for songwriting. Over the course of five years, Sean Binek wrote over 300 songs while maintaining a 3.5 GPA in his marketing major bachelors program at the University of West Georgia. To begin his acting career, Sean Binek create a YouTube channel in which he embodies persona's of other popular influencers, amassing 10,000 subscribers in under 6 months. He created this channel as a small hobby, but quickly realized his passion for acting and entertainment. Starting in early 2024, Binek began his acting career by taking classes at Studio South ATL, a local acting class where he learned skills such as improv, script analysis, acting technique, etc. from NYU alumni Julissa Sabino Hobbs. Concurrently, Binek watched various masterclasses online and read books from great acting teachers such as Howard Fine and Michael Laskin. Drawing inspirations from these online videos and readings, Binek booked his first two Student film roles in "A Tragic Night" directed by Ahava Ronn and "Apple Branded Film" directed by Anton Korablin. Currently, Sean Binek is working on multiple student films with director Uri Rubio and Abigail Carter. Along with this, Binek was casted as a supporting role in a currently untitled movie. Sean Binek plans to further his career in acting with as many low budget productions and experiences he can find to further his career. In the future, Sean Binek is looking forward to learning as much as he can, finding roles that test his acting ability and moving his career forward.
