Adolf Schulten

German historian and expert in classic languages, made most of his career in Spain, searching for the ancient civilization of Tartessos, which became main subject and obsession in his life. Although never found the location or any proof in the archaeological campaigns in Doñana, South Spain, where he looked for Tartessos following ancient books of Greek and Roman historians, his book had a strong influence in Spanish History for decades.
