Jill Yesko

Jill Yesko is the producer and director of the acclaimed sports documentaries Broken Trust: Athlete Abuse Exposed and Tainted Blood: The Untold Story of the 1984 Olympic Blood Doping Scandal. Told from the point of view of female and male athletes who have survived sexual an emotional abuse, Broken Trust is a highly personal account of how athletes from a variety of sports have challenged their abusers and become advocates for making sports free from sexual predators. Tainted Blood recounts the biggest and least known doping scandals in American Olympic history. Long before Lance Armstrong, members of the U.S. cycling team blood doped at the Los Angeles Olympics. While they were successful in winning medals, the risky practice nearly cost riders their lives. Jill is one of the few women to make sports documentaries. A former national class cyclist turned journalist, Jill is the author of several fiction and non-fiction books including the crime fiction thriller Murder in the Dog Park.
