Carlos Novella Alcalá was born on September 3, 1992. He is a final year student of the Filmmaking career at the National Film School of Venezuela - ENC. Also, he studied History at the Central University of Venezuela. He has written and directed 7 short fiction films and documentaries, among which are Stadium and La Radio, world premiered in the American Competition at BAFICI 2021, Argentina and official selection in Biarritz, France and other numerous international film festivals. He is co-scriptwriter and co-director of the choral feature film "An imaginary country where dogs eat flowers" by Tumbarrancho Films, in post production phase. Carlos is working on the writing of new film projects. His next short film titled "La Torta" has just been finished and ready to start its way in international film festivals.
