Manolo Ty

Born in Hagen, Germany, in 1985. While studying Economics at an open university he worked as photographer around the world. His work promotes intercultural understanding as well as tolerance and has been shown in more than 60 international photography and art exhibitions. Manolo Ty lives in Berlin, Germany, and is the author of the book Pakistan Now. Gender X about the lives and the daily struggle of transgender women in Pakistan is his documentary film debut.
