Born in Reykjavik, Iceland in 1993, David moved to the United States when he was 6 years old and has resided in Evansville, Indiana since 2005. In 2017, David founded his own production company GAEN Productions as well as created and stars in Roommates (2017). David has participated in numerous short films and skits, and has joined the sketch comedy group Good Friends (2022) as both a writer and performer.
