Kaleb Cruzado is a Filipino-American scriptwriter, producer, and director residing in Los Angeles, where he's completing his Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television Production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Growing up in northeast San Antonio, Texas, he always had a dream of telling stories - it was only a matter of what medium. One of his first projects was an original hand-drawn comic book series that he distributed amongst his small-town elementary school. A few years later, inspired by the works of Rick Riordan, he dreamt of becoming the world's next best-selling author, crafting multiple short novels that featured young adults embarking on dangerous quests with earth-shaking stakes. At the core of all these stories, however, was a love and appreciation for humans and interpersonal connection, elements that he's always believed to be valuable and integral to life. However, it wouldn't be until high school that Kaleb entered the world of digital art. While his small school didn't offer any photography classes (much less equipment), he took the initiative to learn the ins and outs of the art form on his own. He fell in love with capturing the beauty of the world around him through still photography. From there, it wouldn't be long until his love for visual storytelling translated into motion picture production. Since then, Kaleb has gone on to produce multiple award-winning projects, including the short films "Your Move" (All-American High School Film Festival, 2018) and "Sherbert" (Lift-Off Global Network Sessions, 2020). In between school, he collaborates with Transition Films, a media creation company that specializes in wedding and event videography, working as both a cinematographer and operations coordinator. Upon completing his degree, Kaleb intends to remain in Los Angeles and continue creating heartfelt content that does more than just entertain, but leaves resounding messages that all people can both relate to and appreciate.
