Helena Whitbread

Helena Whitbread is an English writer and biographer best known for the decryption of the Anne Lister diaries, which have since been adapted for the BBC One/HBO television series Gentleman Jack (2019). Helena is a consultant on the series which was created by Sally Wainwright, and stars Suranne Jones. She is the author of the book "The Secret Diaries Of Anne Lister" which was purchased by the Oxford Film and Television Company and adapted to screen for the movie "The Secret Diaries Of Anne Lister".
