Peter Taverner is a stage and screen actor based in Hampshire, UK, born in 1966, he grew up in Oakley, near Basingstoke, and lives only ten miles from his childhood home. He attended Cranbourne School and Queen Mary's College in Basingstoke. Coming to acting later in life, following a rash bet with a friend in 2014, he has since made numerous appearances in local theatre, most recently in 2019 in 'Tulips', a touring play about domestic violence, earning excellent reviews for performances in Bath and Bracknell. He has also appeared in several short films, and has experience as a stand-in, notably for Jeremy Strong in two UK-based episodes of the hit HBO series 'Succession' in 2018.
