Tania Luviano started her career as a soap opera actress in Mexico City. She was selected to be part of the elite acting school "Center for Artist Education" in Televisa. After a few years, she moved to her hometown San Diego, CA and became a five-time Emmy award-winning journalist, news anchor & producer of "Noticias Mi San Diego" on NBC San Diego, host of "Otro Vistazo," national correspondent for Telemundo and Univision. After 15 years of a successful career in broadcasting, Tania decided to dive back into her passion of becoming an actress and filmmaker. Tania has spent the last three years studying acting and all aspects of film by working with some of the best filmmakers in San Diego. By soaking up the knowledge of veteran directors and writers, observing the creative process of cinematographers, she has become a proficient filmmaker. Tania is constantly creating films in front and behind the camera, as a producer and actress, very often with her 10-year-old son Carlos Emilio who's also an actor. "I have an enormous passion for films and thirst for creativity in front and behind the camera lens." Tania has had the opportunity to produce multiple independent films as well as her own passion projects. Never to old to learn, Tania has continued studying with a few brilliant legendary filmmakers through Masterclass.
