Divan is a graduate of Seneca's Acting for Camera & Voice program (September 2017 - April 2019). Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, he is a South African- Canadian Stage Actor who lives in Toronto, Ontario. His stage credits include Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts Broadway Bound Program's Production of Hairspray JR. as Edna Turnblad (August 2013). Since then, he was both in TDCH's Production of Rodger's & Hammerstein's Cinderella as The King (December of 2014), as well as TDCH's Production of Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol as Jacob Marley (December of 2015). In September of 2016, Divan joined Ovation! Performing Arts' Production of Josh MacDonald's Halo as Donald McMullen (final performances were in April of 2017). After graduating from Seneca College (June of 2019), Divan took some time off and visited family in South Africa (November of 2019). And then extended his trip to see his immediate family members who are living in Columbus, Ohio (December 2019), where he joined Out of the Box Community Theatre's Production of Patrick Hamilton's Angel Street as Inspector Rough (October 2019). In May of 2020, after just a few short weeks have passed when COVID-19 hit, Divan moved his Theatre work to a virtual medium. He joined Red Lips Productions & Joie de Survivre's Original Virtual Production of Love Letters for Juliet, which premiered in September of 2020. Since then (September of 2020), Divan also joined Broadway Everyday Star Theatre's Virtual Production of Frozen Jr. as the Duke of Weselton, which will have a private viewing of their filmed performances with family and friends in December of 2020. Divan also moved back to Toronto (in November of 2020), where he is continuing his Theatre work virtually.
