Häana is a one-woman orchestra, merging music + tech + art with nordic/icelandic influences set to a broken beat. She has been featured in Vogue, and special appearances include performing for Ferrari's Portofino car reveal in Dallas, Apple Park closing out for The Killers, Intel at CES 2018 as a feature live electronic artist at Intel's booth, Michael Jordan's wedding alongside Robin Thicke, opening for The Rolling Stones with Kanye West, and for Obama's Inaugural Ball. Her original music utilizes cutting-edge electronic sounds, and she counts Massive Attack, Björk, and Trentemøller as influences in crafting her production. The resulting sonic palette takes listeners on a journey whose destination is a crossroads between classical and contemporary, organic & man-made, familiar and mysterious. Equally versed in live performance as well as music production, Häana has performed at numerous international music festivals (Coachella, OZORA, Boom, Tech Open Air, Shambhala, Envision), as well as performed as a live electronic sound artist for brands Intel, Ferrari, Apple, and Nike and a guest resident artist at Berklee in Valencia, Spain. Häana is a film score composer and has scored a 90-min feature documentary This Cold Life (produced by Time, INC), music for Heavy Water (produced by Red Bull), and the full score for Art on Fire (produced by Gerald Fox). Häana is also deep in the yoga/music/meditation scene, and performs her original orchestral and intuitive scores at numerous yoga festivals and studios around the world, including US and Canadian Wanderlust Festivals, collaborating with lauded teachers Elena Brower, Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, Eoin Finn, Aarona Lea, and many others. She facilitates meditation experiences with her chill live PA project Deepsønøs.
