Langlee Marr was born in Austin, TX before moving to Chicago, IL where she spent most of her childhood. Her mother and extended family live in Jamaica, which is where Langlee frequented and views as her home away from home. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor's Degree in International Economics, Law, and Policy. Langlee interned at the United Nations in Geneva, and then worked in strategy consulting, which she left behind in favor of a career as an artist. Believing in the power of film to create positive social change, Langlee moved to Los Angeles to act full-time in 2020. She also creates and produces her own work. Langlee spent two years studying under Sanford Meisner's last teaching protégé, and has since won awards for Best Actress and Best Comedy (The Sanford Meisner Film Festival, 2019).
