Amy Lovett is Producer at Scout Elf Productions(TM), where she leads the Animation Team in the production of CG animated holiday specials and shorts, including Elf Pets: Santa's St. Bernards Save Christmas, and Elf Pets: A Fox Cub's Christmas Tale. Amy works alongside Writer/Director Chanda A. Bell, Animation Director Lane Force, and Art Director Joe Peery to bring the North Pole's legends and lore to life for audiences of all ages. Lovett's experience in children's and young adult animated and live action content began at Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia. Her entertainment media production career has included producing programs, both short- and long-form, including human interest stories, documentaries on the environment and juvenile delinquency, Speaking of Health reports, Black History Minutes, along with specials, and live programs, including The Martin Luther King, Jr. National Holiday Parade. She garnered multiple national awards, including a Southeastern Regional Emmy Award, a New York Children's Film Festival Award, multiple American Medical Association Awards, an American Film Institute Award, and The Paul Newman Drug Abuse Prevention Award, among others. Lovett co-conceptualized the educational adventure series, Feed Your Mind!, where she served as senior writer/producer on this 3-season weekly, nationally syndicated scripted series, that featured teen hosts who traveled all over the world highlighting topics such as math, science, and cultural diversity. The series won two Southeastern Regional Emmy Awards for stories that featured a variety of activities including counting down the Space Shuttle liftoff from NASA in Cape Canaveral, Florida, and talking live with NASA astronauts in orbit. Additionally, she covered the installment of a tracking device into the horn of a critically endangered white rhino in Kenya and then tracked the rhino from the air in a 4-seater Cessna with conservationist Willie Roberts. She's experienced aborigine traditions at Uluru in Alice Springs, Australia; documented scuba certification and diving with sharks in the Bahamas; explored Volcano Arenal and the natural hot springs in Costa Rica, and much more. Lovett also developed and led the first Standards & Practices unit for Turner Entertainment Networks' TBS, TNT, TCM, Turner South, TruTV, Cartoon Network, and Adult Swim, where she served as Vice President. Utilizing her production background, she advised all levels of production staff and network executives on the development of original programming, editing of acquired programming, and applying the TV Ratings across all platforms, including on-air, digital, and VOD, as well as advised on marketing initiatives and sponsorship partnered content. She is known industry-wide for defining and developing the content triggers for applying the TV Parental Guidelines Rating System. Lovett's vast experience in the entertainment industry as a producer and executive gives her the unique edge with developing programming that engages, informs, educates, and entertains diverse audiences across all platforms. Lovett is based near Atlanta and enjoys spending time with her husband, her four children, and her granddaughter.
